Most recently passed, Aug 12 was the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. I was unable to see it where I was, a bit too cloudy. Plus my schedule still makes staying up that late quite difficult. My sister informed me that she had seen it the night before, and said it was stunning. Things she said she seen include mass amounts of shooting stars, some large shooting stars some of which split apart. Various colors to them all including yellow, purple, red. She said she seen what looked like 3 stars I believe that moved slow and shot off into seemingly space. She also seen several slow moving red star-like objects. Very disappointed to have missed this event. Thought I would share what I heard at least.

The rest of August 2016.
